JKSSB aspirants, former minister, ex-MLA call on LG, check details
Jammu, Mar 17 (KNO): Former minister Abdul Ghani Kohli met with Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan on Friday. During the meeting, Kohli discussed several developmental issues in the Rajouri district, including road connectivity. He also talked about the welfare of the Gujjar Bakerwal community in the Poonch district.
Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia also met with the Lt Governor to discuss various local developmental issues in the Udhampur district, including promoting cooperatives.
In another meeting, a delegation led by Sheikh Muzaffar, President of the Jammu & Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF), met with the Lt Governor to put forth the public issues and demands of the Anantnag district.
A group of Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) aspirants met with the Lt Governor to urge for a quicker selection process for the PSI exam conducted in December 2022, as well as timely completion of other exams conducted by JKSSB.
Advocate Altaf, Chairman of the Municipal Council Ganderbal, also met with the Lt Governor to highlight various developmental issues in the Ganderbal area.
During these meetings, the Lt Governor interacted with the visitors and delegation members, assuring them that their genuine issues and demands would be appropriately addressed. (KNO)
