Job Title: Epidemiologist, Microbiologist and Programme Coordinator
Job Description: The following job vacancies are available in the field of Epidemiology and Microbiology, as well as Programme Coordination. The qualifications required for each position are outlined below:

State Epidemiologist (IDSP) – 1 Post
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine/Public Health or Epidemiology (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, etc.) OR
- M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 2 years MPH (Master in Public Health) with three years of post-qualification experience in relevant field.
OR
- M.Sc. (Epidemiology) with 3 years of post-qualification experience in Public Health
State Microbiologist (IDSP) – 1 Post
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology and other lab sciences) OR
- M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology with one year of experience in clinical laboratory services.
District Epidemiologist (IDSP) – 3 Posts
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine/Public Health or Epidemiology (such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, etc.)
OR

- M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 2 years MPH (Master in Public Health). OR
- M.Sc. (Epidemiology) with 2 years of post-qualification experience in Public Health.
District Microbiologist (IDSP) – 5 Posts
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (preferably in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology and other lab sciences). OR
- M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology.
Epidemiologist (Assistant Programme Officer) (NTEP) – 1 Post
- MBBS or equivalent degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council Of India; must have completed compulsory rotator internship. OR
- Master’s degree in Public Health/Hospital Administration or PHD in Epidemiology/Statistics/Community health/Public Health after graduation.
District Programme Coordinator (NTEP) – 2 Posts
- MBA/PGD Diploma in health administration or Management
Note: MPH refers to Masters in Public Health, MD refers to Doctor of Medicine, DPH refers to Doctor of Public Health, MAE refers to Master of Applied Epidemiology, and NTEP refers to National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme.
