Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
A university located in Singapore recognizes GATE scores as evidence of eligibility for admission into their postgraduate programs. Although international and overseas applicants are required to submit GRE and TOEFL scores, Indian citizens have the option of replacing the GRE with GATE and the IELTS with TOEFL. The official website specifies that the minimum GATE percentile score must be 90% or higher, and the score must not be more than three years old.
Technical University of Munich
At a technical university in Germany, Indian candidates can submit GATE scores in lieu of GRE scores. Additionally, individuals who have received degrees from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) are not required to provide a separate GATE eligibility certificate. Furthermore, when applying for Studienkolleg, neither a GATE nor a GRE score is necessary.
According to an Indianexpress report, the Department of Informatics at this university requires a minimum GATE score of QR 164 and AW 4.0 for all master’s degree programs. In addition, the MSc Mathematics in Data Science, MSc Materials Science and Engineering, MSc Matter to Life, MSc Computational Mechanics, MSc ESCAPE, and MSc Environmental Engineering programs also necessitate a GATE score.
RWTH Aachen University (Germany)
The RWTH Aachen University requires Indian applicants to meet certain criteria in order to be considered for admission into their master’s programs. Specifically, they must have achieved a minimum grade on their school leaving certificate and passed additional entrance exams. National University of Singapore

The master’s level courses which are eligible for this provision include Masters in Computer Science, Master of Computing Information Systems Specialisation, Master of Computing Artificial Intelligence Specialisation, Master of Computing General Track, Master of Science Digital Financial Technology (MSc DFinTech) and Master of Computing Infocomm Security Specialisation.
